The city of Homewood, California is on the West side of the lake just South of Tahoe City. As these things usually work out– this change is for the best in more ways than one. The race will still run counter-clockwise, but now runners will tackle the most remote sections of the race FIRST. This will make it safer and you will get to enjoy some of the most scenic parts of the course during the day! The website and maps should all be updated by next week. We are working hard to get all that done for you. The course will begin by climbing up the ski hill and then connecting with the TRT and running south.
